The FCPF initiative is a performance-based pilot of REDD+: this working paper reports lessons learnt so far by the FCPF's Facility Management Team in implementing, financing and managing REDD+ projects in various countries. The relevance to low carbon development can be found on p.17 which contains a useful diagram linking REDD+ strategies to low carbon development based on experience in the Democratic Republic of Congo. This provides an example of using opportunity cost and feasibility assessments to evaluate REDD+ strategy options.
