REDD+ Design in Cambodia, Indonesia and Mexico: Lessons to Inform International REDD+ Policy Development
Effective REDD+ policy development must integrate analysis and policy at all levels to design complementary international and in-country domestic structures, with sub- national programs combined into a single national program. CCAP studies provide some evidence that the policies and initiatives already underway have a significant potential to reduce deforestation locally, and to be scaled up and replicated to prompt the systematic implementation of REDD+ at broader levels.
