Forest Resilience, Biodiversity and Climate Change
This paper reviews the concepts of ecosystem resilience, resistance, and stability in forests and their relationship to biodiversity, with particular reference to climate change. In addition, the paper provides a number of case studies on forest resilience and comparisons under climate change by forest biome, focusing on boreal, temperate and tropical forests.
