Making REDD work for the poor

Comprehensive study which examines the implications that different criteria in the design of REDD (i.e market vs. fund, mandatory vs. voluntary) could have for the poor. It calls for a prioritisation of pro-poor REDD projects and provides several recommendations on ways to ensure their pro-poor nature. Emphasis is also placed on the benefit sharing mechanisms of REDD finance and on the importance of carbon rights and land tenure.
