This document provides further information about the project, which aims to develop a rigorous definition of the different dimensions and types of equity in the context of ecosystem services. The project also aims to develop a conceptual framework of how local-level equity is affected by changes in the global value of ecosystem services and the way by which that value is realised. The project will test this framework in a number of case studies
